Atlantean Crystal Window is a ‘stained glass’ style of window panel that transforms the energy of the sun. Using natural quartz crystal, we created an artistically designed paneled window suitable for any environment. Can you imagine how great it would feel standing in front of a window panel made of crystal that brings incredible healing energy from sunlight? It is simply fantastic!
Atlantean Crystal Window is an original design that combines the artistry of a mosaic panel with the healing qualities of quartz crystal and sunlight. Each window is completely unique. No two windows are exactly alike.
The Crystal Window is composed mostly of clear quartz and small round glass cabochons as accent. Some windows have small pieces of rose quartz and/or purple amethyst. Some of the clear quartz and all of the rose quartz and amethyst are from Madagascar. The rest of the clear quartz, about half, is from Mt. Ida, Arkansas. Each cut crystal piece was individually sliced and polished, a very labor intensive and time consuming process.
Some of the quartz crystal used in the window has cracks at various places. This is completely normal. Natural quartz contains small fissures or inclusions that when heated, can lead to small cracks. We found that we liked the effect and felt that the cracks played with the sun and fed our imagination. One could almost imagine that this window had been discovered in the ruins of some ancient city of Atlantis, for example.
All of the cut crystal were hand selected for each window. First a center piece is chosen as the focal point, then individual pieces are selected that flow with the focal point. Raised pieces give depth, while colored glass accents are added to compliment the design.
Quartz is known in the metaphysical world as a master healer. A great resource to learn more about the energy healing properties of quartz can be found in Melody’s “Love Is In The Earth.” Some healers say quartz can be programmed and is capable of holding an intention. Keep that in mind when admiring your window. The sunlight streaming through the quartz will energize your intentions and keep the crystal energetically clear.
